Vodafone Greece lands IEX subsea cable in Crete

● Vodafone Greece has successfully connected the island of Crete to the India-Europe-Xpress (IEX) subsea cable system

○ New landing station in Tympaki on Crete’s southern coast

● Helps to diversify the network, as most cable landings are on the northern end of the island

○ The IEX cable system spans nearly 10,000km and connects Mumbai to Europe
