Internet service fully restored, claims PTA

● The country's telecom regulator has announced that internet service in Pakistan has been fully restored following repairs on the SMW-4 submarine cable

○ Faults in the SMW-4 and AAE-1 submarine cables were identified and addressed

■ The faults occurred in June and August respectively

■ A shortfall of 1750 Gbps has been resolved
